Description

Door way, consisting of two jambs and a lintel, fixed at the entrance of the Museum. The lintel shows the saptamatrikas, the Navagrahas and the Hindu Trinity, Siva in the Ardhanarisvara form standing in the centre. Figure of Ardhanarisvara partly restored, Hands of both ganga and Yamuna broken, Crack in the middle of the lintel.
Right side jamb:- The jamb show the usual elegantly carved figures of the River goddess Ganga with Makarmukha & Naga figure. Female attendant hold garland, three mithun figure in separate niches musician & dancers shown on both side of niches.
Left side jamb:- The jamb show the usual elegantly carved figures of the River goddess Jamuna with Tortoise & Naga figure. Female attendant hold garland, three mithun figure in separate niches musician & dancers shown on both side of niches.
